Our Story

Welcome to the HYPERCAFFEINATION NATION!  As our tagline implies (“serving those who serve”), we’re a small but growing company with big dreams to make a noticeable impact in the lives of military men and women, combat veterans, their families, and the patriots on the home front who love and support them all.  Coffee is what we do, but veteran impact is why we do it.  We’re here to support the troops and make a positive impact in their lives.  Providing great coffee, great service and leveraging a great story to achieve maximum impact is how we do it.

So what’s up with the coffee?

Glad you asked.  Ranger Coffee is made from specialty-grade Arabica beans imported from all over the world.  Each bag is carefully roasted and hand-packaged by a small batch roaster who is fanatical about coffee, and even more passionate about quality.  We currently offer five roasted blends but we will be expanding our product line to ten in early 2012.  The product that put us on the map is our “hypercaffeinated” blend of Ranger Coffee.  Containing twice the amount of caffeine as a regular cup, our hypercaffeinated blends are sure to be a suitable replacement for those energy drinks that don’t quite do so well in a rucksack…

So what’s up with your mission?

Again, glad you asked.  Founded by Zach Thomas in 2005, Ranger Coffee has always had a mission for giving back to the troops.  And while Zach has moved on from the company, investing in good people who put their lives on the line, make tremendous sacrifices, and ultimately ensure that the rest of us sleep peacefully at night just makes sense to the rest of us.  We don’t want to preach too loudly, but we think that American servicemen and women are national treasures and they deserve to be treated like it.  Unfortunately, too few of our countrymen do too little to show the true appreciation that so many of us feel for soldiers.  We’re here to change that.

In 2012, Ranger Coffee will be expanding its product lines, its markets, and its internet presence.  We continue to build a rapidly-growing fan base and a group of loyal customers whom we affectionately refer to as the “Hypercaffeination Nation.”  Soon, we will officially become the first “Veteran Impact Company” – a social enterprise specifically dedicated to increasing awareness for, lifting up, and ultimately investing in our nation’s veterans.   We need your support and we invite you to join us in making a difference.  Our commitment to you in return is simple:  we’ll provide you with great coffee and great service, and we’ll split the profits that we take out of the company with the causes that support those who have served.  We will continue our “Coffee for the Troops” program, and in the not-too-distant future we will roll out a “Vets 4 Vets” program, which will broadly include Ranger Coffee partnership opportunities; a “Friends of Ranger Coffee” subscription program; and an “Unsung Hero” program.
