Rotary Club of North Fulton Invests in Ranger Coffee’s ‘Coffee for the Troops’ Program

rotaryRanger Coffee is pleased to announce that the Rotary Club of North Fulton, has invested $500 in Ranger Coffee’s “Coffee for the Troops” program.  Started in 2007, Coffee for the Troops has provided premium coffee products for deployed servicemembers in all theaters of conflict.  Ranger Coffee has always accepted outside funding for the program, and the effort has drawn national and international acclaim from customers with an interest in supporting the troops in a unique way.  All coffee provided by the program is donated by either Ranger Coffee or its customers, and Ranger Coffee offers the program in fulfillment of its mission to invest in the lives of those who invest in America daily.

The Rotary Club of North Fulton is a small Rotary club, but its members are active, and the impact that the Club has made in the local and international arena, is significant.  Club President, Ben Hunter of SunTrust, led the effort to invest in the Coffee for the Troops program after hearing a presentation about the company’s work and the impact that it was making in the lives of veterans in early 2012.  “Rotary International is a service organization, and the Rotary Club of North Fulton takes its commitment to service seriously.  Investing in Coffee for the Troops gave us the opportunity to return thanks to the men and women of our armed forces who have steadfastly served us in conflict over the past eleven years,” said Ben.  Ranger Coffee’s President, Rob Swartwood, remarked “At the heart of both of our organizations is ‘service,’ and it was a privilege to partner with the Rotary Club of North Fulton to provide the world’s best coffee to the world’s finest servicemembers this holiday season.  As long as our servicemembers are serving in harms way, we’re here to support them.  We sincerely thank and appreciate the Rotary Club of North Fulton for its generosity and support for our troops this holiday season”
